 STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE

1.0       OBJECTIVE:

To provide guidelines for Operation & Maintenance of Digital Bottle Cap Torque Tester.

2.0        POLICY:  

To establish a procedure for an operation of Digital Bottle Cap Torque Tester.

                                      

3.0       PROCEDURE: 

3.1.      Ascertain that the system is properly places on a hard & even surface. Plug the adapter into a wall electric socket.

3.2.      Place the bottle between the grips and turn the screw till the bottle is rigidly held in it.

3.3.      Switch on the system, wait for two minutes.

           

3.4       Push the Zero Button.

3.5.      Press the PEAK button

3.6.      Select the unit in which torque value is required to display / measure. The torque value required for Blue Hawaii hair oil is Ncm.

3.7       Apply the force on the cap / seal to open it manually.

3.8       The maximum torque value will be held, if peak was selected.

3.9       Note the reading

3.10     To bring the system in normal condition, push the PEAK button once again.

3.11     Repeat operation 3.2 to 3.10 for each and every bottle checked.

4.0       FREQUENCY: As and when required.

5.0       RESPONSIBILITY:   Q.A Executive.
