1.0 OBJECTIVE:
To
provide guidelines for cleaning, sanitization and operating procedure for
Purified water plant circulatory loop line system.
2.0 POLICY:
To
avoid microbial contamination and to maintain the sanitized condition of
purified water plant circulatory loop line.
3.0 PROCEDURE:
3.1 Collect Purified water in 1000 Ltr tank.
3.2 Shut down RO
plant II.
3.3 Heat water with aid of steam in the 1000 Ltr tank upto
90-940C then start circulation of hot water in the loop line .Then
temperature can be recorded from the display on the calibrated temperature
controller.
3.4 Check the return water temperature display on the
calibrated temperature controller. Return water temperature should reach upto
820C.
3.5 Circulate hot
water at 820C for 30 mins.
3.6 After the completion of 30 minutes sanitization the hot water is drained.

4.0 FREQUENCY: Once in 15days.
5.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
Operator / Maintenance executive.
6.0 ANNEXURE: Sanitization process temperature
record.
